Reaper's Legacy - by Joanna Wylde

Reaper's Legacy (Reapers MC, #2)Reaper's Legacy by Joanna Wylde

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN.....NOT YOUR USUAL LOVE STORY!
I love Joanna Wylde's books, I really enjoyed Reaper's Property Horse and Marie were Awesome. I anxiously awaited the release of Reaper's Legacy. Reading every teaser I could get my greedy hands on. Ruger and Sophie were worth the wait.

When January 28th came it was like Christmas morning, my birthday and my wedding day all rolled into one day. JOY!!!!

Reaper's Legacy did not disappoint!

Ruger is hot hot hot, and Sophie at times I have to admit she got on my nerves but for most of the book she was badass. Loved her, and loved how she made Ruger crazy up until the very last page of the book. She drove him out of his mind and he loved her for it.

All of the guys and gals in this MC story are amazing character's that come to life through Joanna's words. Her writing for me always flows so well, I get obsessed I have to finish and see happens next

Thanks for another great read looking forward to the next installment, anything Joanna writes I will read. :)

Reaper Property by Joanna Wylde review

Reaper's Property (Reapers MC, #1)Reaper's Property by Joanna Wylde

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I don't normally re read books because there are so many in my Nook that I want to read. But after the cover reveal for Reapers Stand the other day and the anticipation of Devils Game I realized it had been awhile since I read Reapers Property so I decided to go for it. I fell in love with Horse and Marie's story all over again. I think its a sure sign of a great writer when you can re read a book and still love it as much as you did the first time without feeling bored. Joanna thanks for a fabulous read the second time around. Hope to keep reading your books for many years to come.

His to Possess - by Opal Carew review **spoiler alert**

His to Possess (His to Possess, #1-6)His to Possess by Opal Carew

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jessica is a small town girl with a broken heart looking to move on with her life by finding a job in the big city.

Dane is a billionaire executive who comes to her rescue on a stormy day.

A one night stand turns into a job and a "physical only agreed relationship" between the two that quickly turns into more.

I read the first installment and I was really excited to read the whole book so I requested the entire book on Netgalley and was graciously granted a copy of it. There were some very exciting parts, surprises and twists that made it a fun read. Some light BDSM scenes.

I do however have some mixed feelings. Don't get me wrong I like it the sex scenes were hot and well written as I expect from Opal Carew books. But I kinda felt the book was a little all of the place.
For example though the threesome with the brothers (Jessica, Dane and Rafe) was certainly exciting and interesting I feel it was kind of weird, especially since it happened twice, and it kind of seemed like it was out of nowhere. I liked Dane and Jessica together and when Rafe came in it kind of spoiled the book for me. I was very interested in Melanie and hoping she would slap Rafe upside the head and make him notice her. I kept finding myself more interested in a story about Melanie and Rafe. Rather than the love triangle between Jessica and the brothers. Hopefully Opal is writing that story. I really liked this book, I didn't love it, I would definitely recommend it, always an Opal fan.

Breathe Into Me - by Sara Fawkes - Review

Breathe into MeBreathe into Me by Sara Fawkes

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

***I RECEIVED AN ARC FOR THIS BOOK FROM NETGALLEY IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW ***

Lacey St. James is a young girl whose life has been rapidly turned upside down. Living in a trailer park with her little brother, her drunk mother and her mean grandmother her life is a big mess. Her abusive current boyfriend doesn't help when he becomes her ex-boyfriend he begins to stalk her just what she needs. She is feeling like the world hates her, then she meets Everett and he makes her believe maybe her miserable existence can be turned into a life worth living.

Everett is house sitting his family’s mansion for the summer. Lacey can’t understand, what he sees in her. They first form a friendship as he helps her study for her GED but the sexual tension is there from the start. Everett has secrets though, can Lacey forgive him when she finds out what he can't bring himself to tell her for fear of losing her forever.
I really loved this story, it was sweet, tender and at times very emotional. Right in the first chapter I fell in love with Lacey. She had been through so much in her short life and she still managed to push through. Working two dead end jobs and helping to raise her little brother while dodging her abusive grandmother. Then she meets Everett and everything changes for both of them. The friendship to start was so sweet, having that friendship first made the later intimate relationship more believable. This book is very different from the others I have read from this author and I have to say Sara Fawkes did a great job. She dealt with some current issues that young people face today in a way that can make people take notice. The abuse and cyber bullying parts of the story were well written and emotional. The only thing I would say I wished the book had was Everette's POV sooner, the author starts giving us Everette's POV at chapter 16 would have like to hear what he was thinking in some earlier chapters.
